About Arlanda Express

The construction was started in 1995 and completed in 1999 to launch Arlanda Express. The high speed rail line from Stockholm Central to Arland Airport only took 18 minutes. It is owned by A-Train AB.

Although the ownership is with the Sweden govt the company has leasing rights till 2050. It is run on market basis. The owner Portare 1 AB is now owned by State Super, Sunsuper and Ginko Tree.
